In this workshop, I’ll begin by sharing how to easily create a tube bead necklace, with a custom dimensional clay bezel. Then the real fun begins - I’ll be showing you how to make five different succulents to fill your bezel for this very unique piece of jewelry.

Why succulents? Succulents really are on trend right now - they are popping up everywhere - not just in home decor and gardening centers - but in jewelry and fashion also - bracelets, necklaces, headbands, barrettes, earrings, and even rings. Big, bold pieces packed with succulents. Especially on wedding jewelry. On sites like Pinterest, you’ll find a wide assortment of jewelry made with real mini succulents, that the wearer can plant after the event. There are a few polymer clay options out there also. I wanted to design something that was a bit of a blend between the real versions, and the polymer clay versions I saw, and this mini succulent garden necklace was the result.

Not interested in creating a wearable succulent garden? These tiny succulents would also be fabulous for embellishing boxes, frames and more. The techniques you’ll learn can be used to create life size home decor pieces too - made entirely of clay. Just alter your sizes as needed and let your creativity take care of the rest. I use a no-bake clay in the video, but you can substitute your favorite oven bake clay as you wish. The techniques will be the same.

        FAQ's

        Who makes the products?

We are a small business woman-owned and operated from north Florida. Kira is the owner and designer, Shannon is the Mistress of Manufacture operating our 3d printers, lasers, and other equipment, and Erin is our Shipping Elf.

A very few of our products- such as our metal sculpting tools, are curated wholesale from various places since we do not have metal manufacturing capabilities in our in-house shop.

How can I care for my products so they last?

To ensure long life, you should always use a soft cloth and water if necessary to remove excess clay, paint, mica powders, or glue residue from the tools immediately after use.

Especially for silkscreens- paint must be rinsed away before it dries on the screen or else you may permanently ruin it by clogging the tiny holes.

        Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to Canada and Australia here - we ship everywhere else on Etsy because of the current state of the USPS. Etsy has more protection- for you, and for us, with international packages. Shop our ETSY.

What if I don't like what I bought? Return policy?

If you don't like what you purchased, you can claim a store credit for the item within 60 days for 90% of the product purchase price. Or, send it back unused within 60 days for 100% refund on the product purchase price.

        What if something arrives broken?

We have a no-risk policy. If something is broken in the mail please email us a photo (we really want to see what happened so we can fix the issues) and we'll send you a new one.

How do you ship? How long does it take, and do I get tracking?

We use USPS Ground Advantage for most packages. We try to ship within a day or two of your order. Sometimes- because our Mistress of Manufacture lives over an hour from the shipping workshop, it may take a little longer if we are waiting on supplies to be restocked. You will receive tracking via email and you can log in to your account to see past orders and tracking.
