I have always been in awe of polymer artists that create miniature works of art in the form of canes. I just cannot believe the results they achieve. Whether it be those who start with massive designs and then work tirelessly to reduce them down to workable sizes, or those who create delicately intricate kaleidoscopes, or even those who can make more simple canes look so perfect - to me, it's all MAGIC. Our cover artist this month is Jayne Dwyer. Perhaps it's the fact that many of her designs are inspired by the beauty of Maine that draw me, as I relocated from Maine many years ago. Or, more likely, it's the fact that her nature inspired designs are breathtaking. The spectacular table on our cover says it all without words - WOW. Learn more about Jayne, her work , and the process of creating this table in her article this month.

The Polymer Chef takes a basic striped cane and transforms it into a trifecta of colorful fun. I channeled my inner mad scientist again to create a semi-translucent honeycomb cane inspired by stained glass. Our artists are sharing an eclectic mix of designs for you this month - Anastasia Kondel offers a gorgeous floral cane, Klio      Tsaliki and Sandy Huntress share two bright and colorful canes, and Jan Montarsi shares an awesome way to create kaleidoscope canes with almost no waste! In The Color Corner with Jessica Hager, Jessica shares a beautiful Dusty Rose Bouquet color palette perfect for springtime. We are also sharing the art of Lesley Magaril Delia and Bridget Derc. Lesley incorporates canes to create unique polymer "paintings" and also makes lovely decorative serving plates with canes.
