How to create your own multipetal lotus flower pendant with polymer clay

I thought it would be fun to make a multi petal layered flower today, and use a simple technique to create a domed center. I chose the complementary colors of orange and turquoise metallics, and a slightly less shimmery gold color to allow the shine of the turquoise to really pop.
